About John
Being a native Austinite gives John justification to complain about traffic, allergies, as well as tell ridiculous stories about how much better Austin was years ago. If you ever hear him say "I remember when..." run to the hills.
John returned to Austin for a five year west coast gig in San Francisco. There he worked at Stanford University on a grant archiving geo-spatial data. John is interested in web technologies in particular spatial information. John hold both his BA and MA in geography. This means he knows the names of all 50 states and their capitals.
In his spare time, John works on maintaining his Craftsman house as well as chasing his dog arounod the local mountain bike trails. John is also the starting short stop for the Austin baseball team, 'the Jardineros' and has a .773 on base percentage.
